Liqiaohe Mosque is in Liqiao Hui Town, Xincai County, Zhumadian, 400 m north of the local tax office on the Gaojiao road. It was built in 1994 with funds raised by the Hui community, at the initiative of community leaders Li Shucheng, Li Shouzhang and Li Wenfan, because the growing Hui population had outgrown the existing place of worship. It covers 6 mu with ten lecture rooms and five ablution rooms; the current imam is Zhu Chongliang, and it serves 800 Hui residents.
