Lalin Mosque stands in Lalin Town, Wuchang, on the former seat of the Lalin deputy lieutenant-general, and was founded in 1749 (Qing Qianlong era). It is a county-level protected building. The 1.9-mu complex, with 147 square metres of buildings, comprises a prayer hall, side wings and ablution rooms in traditional Chinese style. Its congregation numbers 43 households (252 people), all Hui. A building project designed in December 2017 was completed at the end of 2018.
