Kanghe Mosque

康河清真寺
📍 Shangqiu · Sui County 🏛️ 1942

📜 About & history

Kanghe Mosque is in Kanghe Village, Chengguan Town, Sui County. Its Muslims originally belonged to the congregation of the county-town mosque but, finding the distance inconvenient for prayer, formed their own and in 1942 built a mosque with donations at the west end of the village. Damaged during the Cultural Revolution, it reopened afterwards and was repaired in 1982; it covers about 300 square metres.
