Hedijie Mosque stands at Hedijie in the south of Yongjian Township, Weishan County, next to Dacang Town, on the Guanwei road. It began as a house bought in 1982 for prayers; as the population grew and Hui coming to the market needed a place to pray, the mosque proper was completed in 1984. It covers about 1.6 mu with over 600 square metres of buildings, centred on a single-eave gable-and-hip prayer hall, with houses along the street front. Its congregation of 25 households (over 90 people), all Hui, follows the Gedimu tradition.
