Fayuan Mosque, also known as the Dewai (Dewai Guanxiang) Mosque, stands in Xicheng District, Beijing, near Deshengmen. Its earliest documented reconstruction was in the early Kangxi period of the Qing dynasty. It underwent a major restoration funded by the Xicheng District government and reopened in September 2007 with an enlarged area.
