📜 About & history
Shijiazhuang East Mosque was founded in 1946 when Muslims bought land west of Xiumen (today's Donghua Road), and was enlarged to 24 rooms in 1953. Closed in 1959 and occupied by various units until its property was returned in 1988, it was repaired and reopened in 2007. Relocated for urban planning in 2010, it was rebuilt on a new site south of Heping East Road, with the main works finished in 2015 in a combined Chinese-Western style.
