The Fengcheng Mosque is one of the historic mosques of the Dandong border area in Liaoning province, adjacent to North Korea. Located in Fengcheng, a county-level city administered by Dandong, it serves the local Hui community that settled in the region centuries ago as part of Muslim migration into northeast China, and has remained a religious and social centre for Fengcheng's Muslims across generations.

Dandong is a border city known for its views across the Yalu River into North Korea; Fengcheng is a quieter rural area of interest to those exploring local Islamic history.
