Chengjiao Mosque, also called Xiaoxiguan Mosque, is at No. 1 Xiguan Road, Xiaoxiguan Community, Xiguan Subdistrict, Linxia, north of Beidajie Square. It follows the Gedimu tradition and is one of the twelve mosques of Bafang. Founded in the Chenghua era of the Ming dynasty, shortly after Linxia's Nanguan Grand Mosque, it is the city's second mosque and is named after its site at the south-west corner of old Hezhou city. It was burned in spring 1928 and restored in 1933, demolished during the Cultural Revolution and rebuilt in 1980–1982 with a prayer hall holding more than 1,600 worshippers; it was enlarged in 2002, and a small north building was added in 2009. It became a Linxia municipal protected cultural relic in 2006. In 2012 its congregation numbered over 500 households (about 2,500 people).
