Changsha South Mosque was established at the beginning of the twenty-first century to serve the growing southern neighbourhoods of Changsha. Together with other mosques, it forms an integrated religious network covering the city.

Open for the five daily prayers, with the main Friday Jumu'ah gathering around midday; ablution (wudu) facilities are on site. Modest dress is requested.
