📜 About & history

Baijiazhuang Mosque, one of the better-known mosques of Linxia City, is in Muchang Village, Chengguan Township, on a site of 1.1 mu; its founding date is unknown. Damaged in the Cultural Revolution and simply repaired in 1981, it was rebuilt in 1991-1992 with a two-storey palace-style reinforced-concrete prayer hall of 320 square metres. Its congregation of 90 households (over 450 people), mostly Hui, follows the Yihewani practice.
