📜 About & history
Built in 1897 (Guangxu 23) when local Hui villagers pooled 200 taels of silver; the roof ornaments, carved beams and wooden pedestals took three years to complete. Its layout blends traditional Chinese construction with Islamic architecture and is regarded as a testament to Hui-Han coexistence in the Fukang area. It is a Changji-prefecture protected cultural heritage site, about 45 km east of central Fukang.

🚇 How to reach the mosque
Rural; reached via Ziniquan Town off the G30/G312 corridor east of Fukang. Taxi or private car recommended.
About 45 km east of central Fukang in Ziniquan Town; roughly 40-50 minutes by car. Fukang itself is about 60 km east of Urumqi.
Rural Hui mosque; limited services nearby, bring water. Chinese spoken. Fukang is the gateway to Tianchi (Heavenly Lake).
