At the market growers meet factory buyers, flowers are weighed and paid for in cash on the spot, and a foreign buyer can see the grades side by side before visiting the nearby scenting factories

Xiaoyi Town is about 20 km north of central Hengzhou; Hengzhou is roughly 120 km east of Nanning, two hours by car or train
💡 Tips for traders
The flower season runs May to October, peaking in July and August; jasmine tea quality is measured by the number of scenting rounds (three to nine), so ask directly; request a pesticide-residue report if exporting to the Gulf or Europe; a scenting factory visit can usually be arranged the same day, and Hengzhou is about two hours from Nanning
