The Yellow Crane Tower is Wuhan's most famous landmark, a historic tower on Snake Hill beside the Yangtze River celebrated by Chinese poets for over a thousand years. The current five-storey structure was rebuilt in 1985 and offers sweeping views over the river and the city.
