The Yeliguan Tourist Area is in northeastern Lintan County, in the transition zone between the Qinghai–Tibet and Loess plateaus, 150 km from Lanzhou and 90 km from Hezuo. It covers 20.2 square kilometres in two parts: the Chibi Gorge, with Danxia landforms, and Tianchi Yehai, an alpine landslide-dammed lake. It was rated a national 5A tourist attraction in 2024.
