The largest Miao settlement in China: more than a thousand timber stilt houses stepping up two hillsides in Leishan County. The village is known for its silver jewellery, its 'long-table' banquets, the evening 'Beautiful Xijiang' performance and the rice terraces around the houses.

🎟️ Ticket priceEntry 100 yuan per person, the Xijiang Museum 10 yuan and the electric sightseeing cart 5 yuan a ride.
🕐 Opening hoursThe village is inhabited and open all day; the ticket office and the Xijiang Museum keep daytime hours (the museum about 08:00-17:50) and the 'Beautiful Xijiang' show starts at about 20:00.
