The symbol of Dali, a trio of ancient Buddhist pagodas built during the Nanzhao and Dali kingdoms in the 9th-10th centuries. The three towers have survived dozens of earthquakes over a thousand years, backed by the rebuilt Chongsheng Temple complex.
