A national key cultural relic and 4A scenic area in the old north-gate quarter of Bozhou, Anhui. Built in 1656 during the Qing dynasty as the Shanxi-Shaanxi Guild Hall dedicated to the general Guan Yu, it is popularly called Huaxi Lou (Flower Opera Tower) for its vividly painted, finely carved central stage, renowned for its brick carving, wood carving and polychrome painting - together known as the 'three wonders of Bozhou'. The complex also incorporates halls dedicated to Zhang Fei, Yue Fei and other historic shrines.
