The airport is ~11 km east of central Guiyang. Metro Line 2 has a station at Terminal 2 and reaches the centre in ~20–30 min for about ¥5. A taxi takes ~20–30 min and costs ~¥40–60. A high-speed rail station also sits beneath the complex.
