🚇 Getting to the city centre
Only about 10 km northwest of the centre. Dalian Metro Line 2 has an 'Airport' station at the terminal; from Zhongshan Square it is 25-30 min for a few yuan. Taxi is about CNY 30-40 in 20 min, plus many bus lines.

One of China's closest airports to its city centre. International routes to Japan, Korea and Russia. Restaurants and lounges available; ask staff for a quiet/prayer space.
🔄 Getting from the airport to the train stations
Dalian Railway Station: The airport is very close to downtown (about 10 km). Take Metro Line 2, which serves the airport, toward the centre to reach the Dalian Station area; about 25 minutes for ¥2–4, the cheapest choice. Given the short distance a taxi is very practical at about ¥30 in 20 minutes.
Dalian North Railway Station: Take Metro Line 2 from the airport and transfer to Line 1 for the North Station (the high-speed hub); about 40 minutes for ¥4–6. A taxi is about ¥50 in 30 minutes.
