The airport is about 13 km to the north of Alxa Left Banner city center. There is no metro; reach the city by airport shuttle bus or taxi, with taxi being the fastest and most convenient option.
Serves the desert banner seat of Bayanhot in western Inner Mongolia; halal food available. A domestic regional airport in Inner Mongolia. Basic facilities (dining and small shops); ask the information desk about a prayer room. Halal options available.
🔄 Getting from the airport to the train stations
To Alxa Left Banner Railway Station (regular/high-speed): there is no metro; the best option is a taxi directly from the airport, about 26 minutes. The airport shuttle bus toward the city center is also available, from where you can change to the station. Allow extra time at remote regional airports.
